IRAQI MEDIA WOMAN NETWORK:

The Iraqi woman faced for many decades for marginal her role in life despite of her struggle due to the wars and social conditions that passed by country , she was able to take the apart in husband, sun , and father absences and she can able to done many difficult missions in every scenes whether by her children bring up or her role in the governmental establishments as well as in the journal field and media.

But all that efforts does not give the woman the full right to create a special entity and comply her ambitions to be in a leader positioning the society and its establishments.

Because of the Iraqi media woman can do a leader role in the society building and Iraq rise through her educational directions in the media and journal, some of Iraqi media women with help of prominent media names was form an organization that is "Iraqis media women network", it is an independent organization aim to arrange and consolidate the efforts of Iraqis women working in media and built the intellectual, social, and professional necessaries in order to establish a an independent entity aim to recognize by her national role.

Goals:-

1-work about defense on the media woman rights and the right by ownership the media establishments.

2-support the media and journalist woman in the following fields:-

A-professional training in all work joints and media work.

B-support the independent media establishments established by women.

C- adopt the special projects that part by complete the media and journal process.

3- work to give the woman right to lead the media special and governmental establishments depending on her efficiency.

4- establish clubs and female bands in field of media, journalist, culture, and literatures deal with woman.

5- work about development the woman abilities working in the media and journalist from the new generation of Iraqi youth.

Cooperate with the NGO deal with woman in order to separate the freedom concepts and equality.

7- rise the professional and technical level to the Iraqi woman work in media ( vision- audible-and read).

8-open a dialogues and discussion paths with the establishments that media woman work to confirm the professional rights.

9-inform the media woman about her professional and journal rights by explain the international covenants for media staff and journalists fixed in the international organization of journalists, some of UN organizations, and human rights organization.

10- connect by the international organization work in Iraq to get the documentary support.

11- exchange the legal supervision in Iraq to confirm he media rights.

12- present the problems and obstructions that faced the work of media woman in the national media and satellite channels, narrative , vision, and audible.

13- knowledge about the similar experiences (Arabic and international) through dialogue and opinion exchange with the international organization specialist by woman.

BASIC PRINCIPLES:-

The organization depend the following principles to satisfy goals :-

First principle: adopt the superior goals to create independent Iraqi media believe by the citizen right to get the true information that based on the truth as a unique resource for media.

Second principle: believe and work to confirm the social role to the media staff and journalists especially the woman by what keep about the high level of faithfulness.

Third principles: support woman by her role to take the decision in side the media establishment that she work.

Fourth principles: support the professional principles to respect the society and its democracy establishment.

Fifth principles: work to make a new international media system defense on the human values.

Sixth principles: respect the personal affairs and the human dignity .

Organization goals carrying out ways:

1-work to issue a newspaper or magazine or establish a media organization independence on the government.

2-symposume and meetings.

3- work to establish an institute for training special by the media woman .

4- work to get a suitable countdown for the members from the transport, heath, communications, and traveling establishments.

5- work to make agreements with the national and international establishments to get the scholarships for the members.

6- work to get a number of sets in the media colleges and institutes to encourage about higher education.

7- work for priority by employment in the media establishments.

Memberships:

1- each Iraqi whom believe by the organization goals , can belong to the organization, up of 18 years, and does not convicted.

2-the membership gives to the employed after the agreement from their media establishment that they work.

3- Reputable personage.

4- present a write form to the administrative association.

5- the organization have the right to nominate the emeritus memberships or the full memberships for the person who aid the organization activities.

6- the administrative have the right to cancel the membership for any of members whom dissent from the bylaw of organization with major agreement, and in case of equality the decision will be for the director part.

Meeting assortments:

The head of organization consist of :-

1-administatvie association sub consist of:-

a-director.

b-Vise director.

c-treasurer

and six member for committees direction.

The administrative association members functions determined as below:-

· Director:

a- represent the organization in the official, nation, and international directions.

b- Supervise on the organization work and direct the meetings.

c- Supervise about the administrative association recommendations.

d- Supervise on the financial statement account with the treasurer and present an annual reports.

e- Have the right to give vise director some or all of competences.

· Vise director:

a- help the director administratively.

b- Represent the organization in the national and international conference by director’s charging.

c- Meeting managements in case of directors absence.

· Treasurer:

prepare the organization budget and account statement, probably seeking for the help of accountant.

Meetings:

1- the administrative association make tow meeting monthly.

2- The memberships of administrative association cancel for three serious meeting absence.

3- It can employ anew member with recommendation of three member and agreement of majority.

Organization H.Q.:

The organization H.Q. in Baghdad, it can open a new branches in the other governorates connect by the H.Q.

Organization finances:

The organization finances consist of:

1- belong fees, determined by the administrative association.

2- Monthly or annual share, determined by the administrative association.

All accounts deposit under the organization name in one of the Iraqi banks and the order signing by the director or whom represent according to the competences.
